He Is Risen!

Something that separates Christianity from any other world religion is the resurrection of Jesus. In fact, other religions don’t even try to hide the fact that their leader is dead and buried.

But not ours! Nope. He’s alive. Furthermore, Paul says in 1 Corinthians 15:14 that if Jesus is not raised from the dead, our faith is worthless.

The resurrection stands at the very center of our faith. It is what gives us hope.

Let us rejoice — not just tomorrow, but every day — in knowing that our Savior lives! He is risen! Hallelujah!

Until next time,

steve :)

Oh my goodness. I was just thinking these EXACT thoughts! Isn’t it awesome to know that nothing could hold Him back. It amazes me how so many people can say all religions are alike. Seems to me this is a pretty big difference right here!
    The Lord bless you.

Amen! And Hallelujah for the cross!
    Because He lives!

Phil Walters, thank you for your kind words. Your Resurrection Day is probably already over down under, but I pray that it was a blessed day for you. (“over down under”…is there some grammatical law against stringing prepositions together like that?! hehe)

Heather, thanks! We’re rejoicing with you and Brandon, as well. :)

kkmhmom, I can’t think of anything better than knowing that Jesus lives! He paid the price for our sin on the cross, and then brought us new life through the resurrection. Awesome stuff!!! :)

it’s too funny. i was reading and thinking the exact same thing, then i get down to your next line and there it is, already in print!! ha ha!

i don’t comment much, but i do read all the posts and all the comments. the post on “lonely at the top” is so true, so sad. i wish it wasn’t so….and i don’t think it’s just in church work, but i’ve seen it in missions organizations also…. even in families…..

  9. flutemom says:

ok, my post should have started with the part about over down under….and linking three prepositions together, but i guess the blog doesn’t like me putting that part in?

  10. Craig V. says:

He arose! He arose! Hallelujah, Christ arose!

  11. flutemom, so good to “see” you again! :) I hope all is well with you and the family. We miss you.

Your point about other organizations, including the family, are definitely good thoughts.

Were you trying to quote my comment about the “over down under”? HTML codes can be funny sometimes, because if you don’t get it just exactly right, it will choke on it. If I can help explain it more, let me know.
