Happy Birthday to My Lovely Wife!
y very lovely wife, Christy, is celebrating a birthday today. I wanted to take a moment to wish her “happy birthday”, and I hope you’ll do the same. Go on over to her blog and wish her a happy birthday! 
Christy is hands-down the very best wife in the whole world. She is beautiful inside and out and I cannot imagine life without her. Being married to her is a place of peace and joy for me.

Is this gratuitous, sappy, sugary, overtly sentimental public display of affection appropriate for this blog? Or for that matter the Internet? I mean, why don’t you just stand out on the rooftop and shout it out to everyone? Wouldn’t that be more effective???
See, now I’ve got guilt and I’m gonna have to do something like this for my wife’s birthday. Thank goodness it isn’t until October…wait, I mean September…

Tony, don’t worry- this commercial break for the public display of sappiness will be over soon and you can return to the previously scheduled program.
